PRINCIPAL

Dannika is a 2020 graduate from Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) . She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Performance in Musical Theatre and also holds an extended diploma in Performing Arts (Dance).

Dannika was this year's "Best Teacher" Achievement Award Winner at The Black British Theatre Awards. Her award was sponsored by The Lion King. Dannika is honoured to have won this award and wants to sincerely thank everyone who voted for her. She is a dedicated teacher who goes above and beyond for her students!

Dannika attended Stagecoach for 12 years, where her passion for the arts was discovered. At Stagecoach, she successfully completed 8 years worth of LAMDA examinations and finished her LAMDA training with her Grade 8 Acting and Grade 6 Musical Theatre exams, both of which she passed with Distinctions. ​​

Dannika has 10 years extensive teaching experience teaching all performing arts disciplines to children aged 3 - 18 years of age. Dannika currently teaches at Stagecoach Kingston & Surbiton as an Early Stages Teacher, at Southside Theatre Academy as a peripatetic LAMDA teacher and at Presto! Performing Arts a Main School Drama and Primary Musical Theatre teacher. Dannika runs the Presto! Agency alongside the Presto! Principal where she helps submit clients for professional castings they are suitable for through Spotlight. 

Dannika has appeared in Law & Order: UK as Jodie Gaines and iLL Blu ft. James Morrison's music video 'Lonely People.'  She has appeared in Redhill's pantomime of Jack and The Beanstalk working alongside Strictly stars, James and Ola Jordan. In her third year at drama school, Dannika was assigned the roles of Linda Lou and dance captain in 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,' as well as playing ensemble in 'Chess' the musical.​

Dannika is a professional actress and model, represented by Mark Jermin Management and Mentor Model Agency so is currently in the loop of auditioning!  Dannika has most recently appeared in a feature film called 'Dead Fun' playing a supporting role named 'The Girls' Best Friend' and in a short film called 'The Things I'll Do to Be President' playing the role of 'Miss Phillips' both with The Spit Game UK. This year, Dannika has appeared in a Cineworld 4DX campaign, an Ickle Bubba campaign for their 'Stomp Stride Stroller' and two beauty shoots for Boots, modelling their own brand 'Good Gut' and 'SPF'  products. Dannika has recently filmed a short film called 'Woman to Woman' where she played the lead role, 'Her.' The short was directed by Isabelle Tyner, a RADA graduate.

Dannika holds:

  • A BA (Hons) in Performance in Musical Theatre

  • An extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance)

  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update system

  • A professional chaperone license issued through the Achieving for Children Department at Kingston upon Thames Council

  • A first aid certificate

  • Equity membership

  • Teaching insurance which covers online and in-person lessons

Note: Dannika is currently completing a Level 3 Child Psychology diploma
